"The lady at the lobby during the daytime was very professional and not the same happened with the second shift, my room was not cleaned and were telling me that it was my fault. Breakfasts were good and ALIX made a difference with her service and attention to details basically constantly helping guests; She provided a very good customer service. Very disappointed with the smell of the room and think that rate is overpriced."

"My third time staying here and it’s just as fresh as since it first opened. I stayed a week in the Park Hyatt in DC before coming over to Tysons for a few days and this hotel is better in so many ways than the Park Hyatt. The staff are friendly, the rooms are fresh, spacious, new and clean and the vibe is young and energetic. I only wish the breakfast were a little less holiday innish and a little more curated with more variety but can’t really complain especially at this price point. Will be back for sure again."

"It was a clean, well located location 5 minute walking distance to metro station as well as nearby dining options. Great for a budget friendly stay in the DC area. Flew into IAD, took metro from airport to hotel and was able to access all DC area amenities without ever needing a car due to proximity to public transportation. The room was a little small but fine as I was traveling alone."

"The property is under renovation. The photos of what the new lobby is planned to look like will be beautiful once completed. The current makeshift lobby is small and we were over come by a school group crowding the front desk area upon our arrival, mostly due to rain and no where for them to go. The staff was gracious and ensured our rooms were on a different floor from the 2 school groups staying there. Our room was mostly clean. However, there was a dead bed bug on the carpet. There were no other signs of bugs anywhere that we could see. Breakfast starts at 6am Mon-Fri, but doesn’t open till 7 am on the weekends. For those of us who like to get an early start when traveling, we ended up leaving and had to get breakfast elsewhere Saturday morning. The complimentary breakfast (eggs, bacon, waffles, variety of breads, danishes, cereals, etc) Friday morning was good! I hope the renovations in the lobby are just the beginning for a full renovation of all rooms & breakfast area."
