"My husband and I wanted one of the cabins. We knew we had to bring our own sheets, pillows, blankets, etc. There is only a bed, tv and dresser in the cabin. The bathroom is a very short walk outside but this info is mentioned on their website. It would be nice if there was at least a small mirror in the cabin. This campground is very close to downtown. It took me about 15 min to walk but, there is a trolley goes around town and that stops at the campground. It costs $1 per person to...

"We loved staying here it had that 'staying in a cabin feel' to it. The rooms were a great size and cozy. Location was convenient when coming or going outta town. And the lady that runs the place was so nice and accommodating, she came out to talk to us while we sat out in the patio area and chatted to make sure we were all good with everything."
"The location was so convenient for us, it was our first time being in Deadwood and having the hotel at the end of the street might seem off putting but it was quiet and having the covered parking garage was fantastic. It was a quick walk to get to everything and see main street.
The hotel was clean, comfortable and having a quiet patio to chill out on was amazing. And the staff were so great if we had any questions or requests."
"Great place if you’re looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the Deadwood area. It’s the first time we’ve stayed at the lodge and it’s a pretty cool place. The beautiful scenery of Spearfish Canyon on the hiking trails right from the doorstep of the lodge is a must see. the Latchstring restaurant has awesome food no matter what you order. I’ve been to the restaurant a few times over the years while snowmobiling and it’s never disappointed."
"Great stay at a historic hotel. It was such a nice experience there. We stayed in Room 211- no ghosts joined us the two night we were there- but it was a great hotel highly accessible to Main Street. Room size was quite large. It was a ton of fun to be there during the Wild Bill festival too (which we did not know was going on). Just really had a good breakfast too at Bully’s. Amazing the great breakfast they can make there- the pancake can serve a family of 4- not kidding!"
"The room was great. Everything was as described. Actually it was better than anticipated. We had so much fun. Everything was working. The pool was nice and clean. Hot tub was great! Ice maker worked. Waffles were yummy for breakfast. Staff was very professional and kind. Went above and beyond for us. Thank you for an unforgettable stay."
