"The house itself was clean and in good shape, however, there is a lock on the thermostat (and no way of telling the temp) so we had 2 miserable nights of sleep. The owner never reached out to us to see how check in etc. went. The surrounding area was unexpected, especially at the entrance to the driveway. "

We were grateful for that. The setting, in back, was lovely. The kitchen was well stocked. The house, though, is sparsely furnished; the TV is difficult to navigate in the living room and there were no directions for it. Outside the property was not cared for and overgrown; the garbage and recycling pails were...
