B&B in Maury County

"This motel exceeded my expectations. The room I stayed in during Mule Days 206) was right up the steps on the corner. There was very little foot traffic in front of my door and I left the door open some because the weather was nice. The room was clean, if a little worn and dated, and the towels were replaced daily. It was convenient to everything I wanted to do in Columbia, TN, downtown, food and festival. I planned ahead and brought my own coffee maker and coffee plus my favorite pillow which was good since there was not a coffee pot in the room. The bed was comfortable and the sheets appeared clean, so sleep was good! Breakfast was cereal with toast or bagel, so I went elsewhere. One night when I needed plastic wear to eat my takeout the desk clerk got out what I needed. To have booked my stay on the day of the beginning of a festival weekend, it turned out very well."

"We booked a king bed and couch for 4 people. The couch didn’t turn into a bed:/ so really didn’t sleep 4. Listed as a sofa bed. "

"Got there and the woman said that the pool is being repaired and the hot water heater was broken. Only good thing was the free cancelation. Bad news all other hotels were booked. So we drove 3 1/2 hours back home. "

"Staff at check in was very polite and helpful. I personally didn’t realize this was a motel (outside rooms) and not a hotel, but that was on me for not looking. Our room was on the second floor, as they said there were none available on the ground floor (there is no elevator). The room was clean, but the curtains would not close. This was very unsettling with the rooms being exterior, and people walking by. We felt very uncomfortable due to that. Next morning we checked out at 5:50am. The gentlemen had just finished setting out the breakfast food, and we asked if we could grab something before we left. He said “NO!! It’s not 6:00 yet!” Ok then, rules are rules. Not a very good overall experience "

"Good food at the kickback. Hotel is nice and spacious downstairs. Rooms were good. Pool and hot tub were nice."
