"This newly renovated hotel had a comfortable room with wall hooks and plenty of space to drop luggage without it touching the floor or furniture. The bed was comfortable and the shower and bathroom space were clean. I liked that the hotel didn’t use those horrible sample size shower supplies. Things that frustrated me: the parking lot and entrance to the hotel was under construction. I had to park behind the hotel and enter through a narrow passageway to get to the door. As a solo traveler I wasn’t happy about that detail. I found restaurants and a gas station within walking distance of the property. Since it was hard to access and on a one way frontage road, that made life easier. The breakfast was bare bones and there was no cooked offering. Yoghurt and boiled eggs didn’t look good to me. Fruit looking very sad. It was quite a disappointment, though the dining space was nice and clean. I had trouble operating the thermostat, which had been turned down to 62 degrees. I was finally able to turn it off and get to sleep."
