"Stayed there for a quick overnight in passing. Room 116 was bad. There were visual stains from a couples stay previously in the first bad (closest to the door). Bathroom was not clean! The toilet seat had a big red stain running the width of the whole cover and was wider than a shoe. The floors in the bathroom looked like they had not been cleaned in quite a while.
The overall room / stay would not have been bad, but when you are staying somewhere for a quick sleep and go, the 2 most important parts are the bed and bathroom. This room lacked in both of those.
The gentleman who checked us in was still there when we left and was very nice. We mentioned the issues upon leaving and he seemed almost shocked, so maybe this is an enigma, but we will not be visiting this hotel on our next stay in Peoria.
A side note on the overall hotel. If you don't mind the small of marijuana while walking down the hall to your room, the hallway isn't bad. "
"The room needs the bathroom door knob fixed. My mom was stuck in the bathroom in the middle of the night.
The tv remote needed new batteries
We needed an extra comforter for my daughter and never received one as well as extra sheets for the crib."
"Worst hotel experience I have ever had. No where on hotels.com or the merchant hotel site directly made any mention of pool being down or limited hours. I booked the hotel specifically because my child, loves pools. We event for the Flow Wild at the peoria zoo and wanted to use the pool prior and the following morning. Sign said pool down for maintenance. I than went to the front desk and was informed the pool would be open from 6pm to 10 pm. Due to this, Hotels.com was not able to relocate us, as the pool was A: not completely shut down and B: the hotel did not advertise the limited pool hours. I than asked another employee about the pool and was informed the pool would not even be open at 6pm. When we arrived back from the zoo, around 9pm, the pool was open but it was also my child's bedtime.
I asked the night desk person if the pool would be open in morning. he did apologize it would not be. i explained I only came for the pool and very frustrated would be unable to use it, since apparently its only 6-10pm. i explained no where does it mention this on the business website. He apologized again. This is the only person I interacted with that actually apoligized everyone early in day did not.
I encourage anyone with small children to not stay at this hotel. Zero help by staff, and zero empathy or assistance. So much misrepresentation and misinformation. i never would have stayed at this hotel if informed correctly.
Work experience ever"
"I live in Colorado and I stayed at the establishment while I was in town for a funeral. Upon check in I noticed a sign about a deposit so when I question about it not being listed on the site, therefore is it possible to pay cash for the deposit. I was told no that it had to be on a card. I was hesitant but after driving 16hrs I just wanted to get some rest. However once I entered the room it was obvious that the room was not clean. I took pictures of the damage in the bathroom and the dirty linen. I informed the front desk attendant who then only offered me 2 towels. I had to purchase my own linens and towels for the stay and now they are refusing to give me my deposit. I will not recommend this place to anyone and the fact that they are not giving me back my money is beyond me."
"We used the parking deck because there was an event going on at the pull up at front door was packed. The garage was a disaster, the ground was in crumbles, falling apart. You couldn’t get out of your car without falling. Suitcases were getting stuck in the huge holes in the concrete and rocks all over. We made it to the elevators after walking around because nothing was clearly marked to know where to go. Then the elevators didn’t work. So we had an infant in a stroller suitcases, bags, pac and play that we had to haul down the ramps with on coming traffic because that was the only down with a stroller and all of our stuff. It was totally unsafe for our family and our baby. Espcailly with how bad the ground was we were tripping and falling or had to pick up the stroller at one point because of how big the hole was in the ground. This was unsafe and very scary. Then went to check in and they gave us a hard time because we booked through a 3rd party they kept saying and not through a website ?? And had to change the taxes. And I said no the whole entire weekend is paid in full so your not charging anything different. We had to wait 10 trips to finally be able to get on the elevator to get to our room everything kept cutting in front of us and the stroller. Being very rude with this bunch group of kids. All weekend we dealt with them. But they were had no control. They took over the hotel for an event going on. The staff was in staffed. There is so much more…."
