"The hotel has 2 stories. The second floor, much to my surprise, doesn’t have access any other way except a steep straight up metal staircase outside with no protection from the rain or any other elements. If you have a disability like I do, it makes for a VERY challenging time trying to bring in your luggage. With a brace on my arm I asked the person checking me in when she said my room wasn’t ready at the designated check in time for a first floor room (my car was the only other vehicle in the parking lot). I was told there were none available. I watched later other people arriving going to a first floor room that were clearly checking in for the first time so that was a lie. I then asked if there wan an elevator - I was told no. I then asked if there was anyone that could help me with the luggage. She literally looked me in the eye and said “I will if I have to.” I’m fairly certain this place is in violation of the American Disabilities Act.
It rained the entire time I was there so, no fun trying to drag my suitcase up the stairway from hell with a brace in the pouring rain praying I don’t trip since you’re going down the whole flight of metal grate stairs if you do. And the degree of “I hate customers” from the staff was rather shocking - even in today’s society of next to zero customer service! This place is horrible!!!
Don’t eat their “newly upgraded” ads fool you…dirty as heck and damaged bathroom doorknob!"
"Beds not on the frame. Ac didn't work. Very old buildings.
Use to stay here a lot. Not anymore. 120 for this room is 65 dollars over priced
Very dissatisfied"
"Although the mattress was very comfy and the shower head put out a really good amount of water our room needed a more thorough cleaning and repairs: The couch cushions had several dirty areas. We used towels (spread them over the grime)to sit on. At the head of the bed on the floor there was garbage , crumbs and dust. Obviously not cleaned for awhile. The spring hinge on the entrance door was broken so that it would not close automatically as they normally do. There were broken tiles on the bathroom floor. The base of the toilet was dirty as well as the floor. Bathroom door was water damaged and needed painting. This hotel is not being maintained."
