Unique style and very helpful staff

Along with most other hotels in Nacogdoches, the Hampton Inn and Suites is on the outskirts of town. A car is a must, as everything is a couple of miles away. The road is a busy one, but the hotel is set back and there was no noise in the room. The staff were very friendly, and housekeeping was very accommodating of our late lie ins. The complimentary breakfast was tasty and provided a number of options, if a little repetitive (the fresh fruit, for example, was always melon and pineapple over...

When you don't expect much, you get to be surprised. This was a nice hotel. The room was a good size and the bed was comfy. The shower was a little short for my over 6ft husband, but had good water pressure. The towels were on the small side and thin. The coffee in the room was okay, but the lobby coffee was better. Near a lot of fast food places.

We booked this hotel simply as a place to rest our heads on a long journey. It was clean and the receptionist was super friendly (I think her name was Angie).
