"Stayed here for four days (Sun-Wed).
Building is historic, and while it shows the wear and tear of the time, nowhere does that affect the time I stayed there. If anything it added character. Rooms were clean, bed was comfortable, showers ran strong and hot. The TV situation is outdated, it’s only cable and no apps, and the cable reception is spotty. But I’m not here for tv. I did notice a seriously leaky ceiling when I was roaming around the lobby area, but it looked like the issue was being addressed. Again, it’s a historic building and has the issues of a historic building.
Used the gym here, looked like it was newly remodeled. 2 treadmills, 2 elliptical, 4 bikes, free weights. Had plenty of gym towels and a water station, plus bathrooms and antibacterial wipes for the equipment. Nothing crazy but it fit the bill.
Only went to the bar my first night I landed to get a drink to bring up, but it was clean and the staff welcoming. I passed it multiple nights coming back and there were always people in it eating and drinking, so they must be doing something right.
Avis is a 5 minute walk down the street if you’re renting a car, and while the hotel has parking for $30 a night, there is ample street parking for $1 an hour from 9-9pm. I never had an issue finding a spot and never questioned the security of my car.
Had no problem checking in early when my flights were rearranged and got to Omaha early, and again no issue getting a late check out.
Would 100% stay again."
