"The place was great. I was looking for a quieter place away from downtown and this place fit the bill perfectly. When I got there I asked for a second floor room and they were able to accommodate me. The rooms had that historic feel and were well maintained- I thought the atmosphere was super nice. Also, for dog owners like myself, the east end of the river trail is only about a half mile away which I would highly recommend walking (even without a dog). I really enjoyed my stay. "Our room was located on bottom floor. Between the noise from guest above us and city noise, we didn't sleep very well. They only offer coffee in the lobby. They did offer breakfast before covid. It would be nice to bring it back. Our mini fridge was stuck on freeze mode and almost froze my insulin before I saw it had been turned all the way up! "Hotel looked random down and dirty. The pool was out of service and covered with a raggedy old tarp. The floor in the room was sticky. The staff was the only good thing this hotel had going for it. I will definitely not be coming back."

"This Motel was obviously built in the 50s according to the bathtub and other items that reflect that era that Tub was very large though, and the shower was the shower. I looked for all my life, except it was a little bit more stinging then I would prefer. I’ve never had a shower that actually had any pressure that I recall other than this one so, “kudos!” the nice lady at the front desk was an angel and you’ll think of your grandmother when you check in.
