Omni La Mansion del Rio

"Gorgeous property. Beautiful rooms especially overlooking the River Walk. Room service is amazing and great food but a 25% gratuity is already added in. I just thought that was extremely high but the food was worth it. I would go there again. Staff were kind and the valet was congenial. There’s a parking lot directly across the street for $9.00 a day or each time you go in and out so there’s no need to pay the $60 per day for valet parking at the hotel."

"A number of us from the Madrid High School (Spain) Class of 1965 had a wonderful stay celebrating our 61st anniversary at the Crockett Hotel in San Antonio. Great food and bar, warm vibe, great staff and walking distance to everything memorable in beautiful San Antonio. Across the street from the Alamo. Across the street from escalator access to Riverwalk. Highly recommend a stay here. We are returning next year. Perfect place for a family get-together, school reunion, or any special celebration! Welcoming feel, super location!"

"What we liked and disliked were the same things. We like the fact the historical nature of the hotel and staying in the historical area of the hotel. Historical hotels always have some quirks. Lack of electrical outlets is common as is a step into the bathroom. On the other hand what a great location for seeing the city, and the lobby and ballroom were spectacular."

"The price you see is the price you pay they say. That is a lie. I was charged the price I was told I was to pay plus a franklin for "incidentals" to include a high dollar per night parking fee (no free parking) plus an additional fee. So the budget motel turned into a non-budget bill. What a joke. I should have stayed at a more expensive motel at least I would have had free parking and better amenities. False advertisement. Don't stay here unless you want to pay twice what you were told you would have to pay."
