Amazing place. Amazing island. Amazing staff.

Was really impressed with this hotel. Staff were all exceptional. The rooms were really clean. Location was also great. The restaurant meal and breakfasts were really good!! The staff went above and beyond to make my partners birthday celebration feel great - with little touches in the room and just general warmth of all the staff. Make sure you rent a car if staying here - not too many local restaurants - but perfect base to explore the island.

Wonderful hotel with clean and spacious rooms. Conveniently located in the centre of the city, but room was very quiet and you wouldn't have known the trams/buses were outside. Great choice of amenities. Would recommend and definitely stay here again.

I LOVED the Sheraton Kagoshima and wish we'd stayed here for more than one night. I booked an overnight stay in the city on the way back from Yakushima island. I wasn't expecting too much but absolutely fell in love with this hotel. Everything about it was excellent. Great onsen, quiet and clean

The hot springs, including private ones, are amazing (and sulphurous), and so are the views from the hotel. The food is simple and good, both at dinner and at breakfast. On the other hand, rooms have cheesy smell to them, probably from mold; wifi is very weak.

We had a fantastic stay here with our two year old and four month old. The baths were great and also had a sauna and cold pool, and the room was very clean and comfortable. The kaiseki dinner and breakfast were superb and there was a menu in English. Our host Sarina was wonderful. The hot sand onsen is a short walk from the hotel and was very easy to get to. Great hotel, spacious rooms, clean and great staff

Wonderful front of house staff, who were so helpful to me when I made a mistake with the bill. They are so kind. Rooms were really clean and ideal location.

The convenience of being at the station is a bonus and the staff are very helpful.
