"The front desk lady in the evening was very kind when we came to her about my fitted sheet on my bed had face makeup all over it. On the side, in the middle and on front of fitted sheet. She offered if we wanted to upgrade to a nicer room. We opted out because my disabled daughter was already asleep in the other bed and it wasn't worth waking her up. "Room was very clean, I like that it had a retro feel to it. Staff was super friendly checking in and out. Parking was good, plenty of room."

"It was a nice place to stay and served our needs for the days we were there. The shower curtain rod was a little weak and the internet was slightly unreliable, but the room was clean, the staff was nice, and there were complimentary cookies and coffee/tea/hot chocolate in the lobby which were appreciated. "We had an excellent stay at The Allen House Bed & Brunch. The place was very clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The owner/operators were some of the nicest people you could meet. We even met the father-in-law when we arrived — he was outside landscaping and taking care of the property, which really showed how much pride they take in the place. "When we arrived, the front desk told us our reservation had been cancelled due to "over booking". I made the reservation 2 months in advance. Never received notice that it had been cancelled. The woman at the front desk was not friendly at all and didn't offer any help or compassion about our reservation being cancelled. "The room was awful!!! The bathroom did not look as if had actually been clean. Hair all over the floors, toilet shower. Tooth paste on sink, mirror was dirty, hair in the bed sheets. Asked for a refund on second night and was suppose to have communication later in the day, and owners did not reach out. Still have not had any communication or refund. So will be following up again!"
