The host was so kind and attentive. The view from the bedroom window was brilliant. In the heart of the Icelandic countryside. Incredibly we were certain we even saw an arctic fox from the window although I was not quick enough in getting my 'phone to photograph it (and prove it !). The accommodation was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was excellent.

A spectacular view in an excellent location equipped with outdoor 3 hot tubs and a sauna. 5 stars service and hotel stay worths that money. A very yummy dinner in the hotel restaurant. I took loads of pictures!

Great little cottages on little, remote(ish), family-run farm near glaciers.
We started just one night on tour of Iceland and got one of the semi-detached cottages and don’t have neighbours. We didn’t have neighbours but in summer when busy it’s likely you’d get a bit of noise from your neighbours, not that that would have bothered us.
The cottages are very traditional and we thought it might be a little cold. Quite the opposite, the little radiator was great and we didn’t even need the...

Easy location just as you enter Höfn. Next to a horse stable and had a great few from the window. Friendly person at the reception, greeted with a smile. Breakfast is OK. Enough to get you going. Small town so you can walk anywhere.

Lovely clean & friendly guesthouse and well located in Höfn. Although they don’t offer a full breakfast out of season, there is tea, coffee, chocolate cake and fruit on offer. Nice large room and bathroom with parking on site.

Friendly check in. Room was clean and met our needs for a 1 night stay. Easy parking and good WiFi.
Dinner was tasty in Italian restaurant attached to hotel and enjoyed the breakfast buffet which had lots of choice.

The hosts were absolutely amazing, especially considering our eventual midnight arrival - we were stuck in the snow, they waited up. The room was a great size and a great price, and very clean and neat. The location is amazing as well, it's a shame we only arrived so late. Would definitely recommend.

+ clean, quiet, comfortable accomodation, modern kitchen and bathroom, everything was fine
- phone number is wrong (not +345 but +354) and we also didn't receive an e-mail with check-in info including pin code for keybox. After call with correct area code went the communication great, customer care was really helpful

This was reasonably priced accommodation in a good location for visiting the Diamond Beach and glacier. The room was comfortable and breakfast was included. I had to contact the property about check in time which was a little challenging, but it all worked out. I would happily stay here again.

We loved it. Party of 7. Each cabin sleeps 8 but we had ti rent 2 cabins because they fine you TONS extra in fees for every person in your party over 4. So, it doesn’t make sense. But that was our only complaint. Loved the place. (Needed paper towels and a cookie sheet, but those are small things,)
