Cambridge Suites Hotel

"The hotel is a little tired and is due for some updates, but the room was very clean and the beds and pillows were comfortable enough, but not the newest. The complimentary breakfast was good, and having parking available in downtown Halifax was very helpful. The downtown location was great allowing us to walk to our tours and many great restaurants & attractions. The staff were the stars of the hotel as they were very pleasant and helpful. We were also very lucky to be able to get into our room early allowing us to check into our room before a morning tour. I would recommend the Cambridge hotel."

"The staff was very helpful. And this hotel offers a selection of free DVD and VCR movies beyond anything I have ever seen. And in each room a DVD/VCR player. There is access to a lovely restaurant from the Lobby, w inside and outside seating, weather permitting, of course. Easy walk to the Boston Harbor."

"Stayed 1 night on the 26th floor, great room. I also stayed 2 nights on the 10th and had a totally different experience. I did not request any parking or breakfast compensation as they said in their response to me. I was informing them that the stay on the 10 th floor was below standard for the additional $800. The room had a broken floor lamp, broken hairdryer, you couldn’t see out the window due to the window needing reglazing and the bathroom shower area had black grout and the ceiling was also black in some areas. The room needs a reno and management should not try to change the messaging when they asked for honest feedback. The pros are the staff are helpful and the beds are comfortable."

"Decent Stay with Friendly Staff, but Needs Some Maintenance Overall, we had a good stay, but the hotel definitely has a few areas that need improvement. The Good: Staff: The highlight of our stay was the wonderful staff, especially Mr. Sherif, who was exceptionally welcoming, friendly, and helpful throughout our visit. Amenities & Food: The pool and jacuzzi were both great and made for a relaxing time. Plus, the pizza nearby was delicious! Location & Perks: It’s conveniently located near the city, and having free, easily available parking was a huge bonus. Areas for Improvement: Cleanliness & Maintenance: The hotel looks a bit more like a motel from the outside and could really use some work on cleanliness. The hallway had a bad smell, and the carpets are outdated and definitely need to be changed. If the management works on deep cleaning and updating the hallways, this place would be much better. Special thanks again to Mr. Sherif for the great hospitality!"

"La chambre était propre et prête. Stationnement sous terrain et restaurant pour déjeuner à même l’hôtel, très pratique. Dans la suite, l’air climatisée se contrôle dans les 2 pièces indépendamment. Le balcon serait à rénover (moyennement sécuritaire pour des enfants). Les planchers ne sont pas en tapis, très positif ! Le divan-lit était confortable."
