Excellent value for money, stunning place

Couldn't really fault these guys, it was a beautiful stay. Rooms were well equipped on stunning garden & pond grounds. Nice pool & restaraunt Single room was a little small but was comfortable & had all amenities needed. Nice semi outdoor bathroom. Free water & good wifi. Very cheap for such a high standard hotel

Small, not family-friendly hotel...

No complaints about the hotel itself, except that there is no beach, and the actual grounds are tiny! Very little space for our teenage son to stretch his legs! Also, very little pool area and limited seating/lounge chairs. We came to the hotel and immediately realized this was not going to suit us and our teenager, and the hotel would not let us out of our reservation. Insisted in was hotels.com policy. When we finally heard from hotels.com, they said it was up to the hotel, not them. Unfortunately, it took them 3 days to tell us that. Not great customer service on either side. In spite of all the families here, this is definitely a couple-friendly place only.

Alam Asmara Dive Resort - Candidasa, Bali

Arriving at this hotel was a breath of fresh air after the traffic of Bali. The gardens are breathtaking , each room has it's privacy, the bathroom is opened to the outside with privacy giving it a very tropical feel. The restaurant over looks the ocean and all the activity of boats, snorkellers and ships coming and going. Restaurant prices are good. The snorkelling can be organised with the locals and cost us only $13 AUD each an absolute bargain as the array of fish was immense. My 13 year old daughters first time snorkelling and she did not want to leave. We did get the feeling this was a couples resort but they accommodated us with our child effortlessly. Only one english TV channel-Animal Planet. Great place for a honeymoon, cheers Doris

hotêl alam asmara candi dasa: au calme sur le front de mer

bel petit hôtel au bout d'une rue calme donnant sur la mer. Toutes les chambres sont sous forme de bungalows entourés de petites mares avec des poissons.Intérieur bien agencé et bien décoré avec une salle de bain au grand air (original). Le restaurant a une très bonne carte et la terrasse est juste au dessus de la mer, le petit déjeuner est très bien (dommage, pas de buffet). Piscine un peu petite mais propre. Le personnel est très agréable comme partout à bali. Bien placé si on recherche des vacances au calme.

Nice and clean hotel. Tiny rooms.

The hotel seems to be recent, it is very clean and decorated with taste. However not a square inch is lost, which makes you feel in a jungle and could cause trouble to claustrophobics. Rooms are like the hotel, impeccable, but tiny.

Definitely recommended

Very comfortable rooms with a semi outdoor bath and exceptional service, I really feel spoilt. There is a fish pond outside each room which is really relaxing to feed and watch. The waterfront location is also ideal to jump onto a local boat to snorkel or go elsewhere and is an ideal setting for meals. There is a legong dance twice a week at dinner time and the thursday we were there they had free local cakes in the afternoon which was absolutely delicious. This hotel has very nice little touches that I appreciated a lot. Definitely recommended and I will definitely want to come back.
