As for the route here we have a route on our website which brings you over normal small roads, google otherwise brings you through a short cut which is not really nice to drive. Dear Guest, thanks very much for your review. We appreciate your feedback very much and I´m happy that you liked your stay here at Shunyata Villas Bali. Since we are embedded in authentic balinese rural village area, it can happen that there is an impact from surrounding farming area, but that´s happening quite rarely actually, only sometimes during the rain season when you were here too. Same for insects like flies, they appear in rain season but as fast as they come, as fast they go again. It´s only some weeks in the year when we do have flies at all. So I´m really sorry that you probably had bad luck with nature´s influence at our place. I´m hoping to welcome you again here in our little paradise. Thanks so much for your review. We are very happy that you liked our place so much. :-) We appreciate your valuable feedback regarding our food pricing, too. I´m very sorry that you were not totally satisfied. I can assure you that we do not charge extra on purpose because we are remote. You see, our place is fairly small, so we cook for 10 guests at most. We have high standards in terms of ingredient quality, we cook our individual menu´s 100% fresh each day (without any artificial flavours etc. and in organic quality as much as possible) and all is homemade (also bread, pasta, etc.). Given that we are offering two individual 3-course meals each day (lunch and dinner) - for dinner we usually have 2 or 3 choices for the main course. In case a guest doesn´t like what we offer on a particular day, we encourage to tell us, so that our kitchen can create something different for them. In addition we also have a selection of regular food choices in our snack card. To keep this service for our guests on this level we have to ask for a specific price. But, as written already, we are very thankful for your comment. This is very helpful, as it is important for us to improve the services for our guests constantly.
