"The location was ideal as the best restaurants to eat at we’re just around the corner on Cuba Street Also, when you walked in the unit, it was spotless. The kitchen counter was gleaming. The bathroom shower stall did not have any sort of watermark spot onit. Great views of the city. Clean and fresh is how I would describe the room. I would stay here again with no hesitation!!"

"Quirky vibe, European style. Very comfortable room, with excellent amenities. All very thoughtful in terms of guest comfort, needs, use of space and sustainability. Good location by the harbour and opposite the Te Papa museum. Parking a short walk away. Register your car with the hotel to save on parking fees. "The unit was clean, in good condition, and the beds were comfortable. Instant coffee, teabags, sweeteners, and milk were available in the room along with an electric kettle. Check in and out was simple and quick, staff were friendly and helpful. We would stay here again."

"Loved everything about the stay. Only problem I had... we didn't know about the James Cook Arcade lift to take you up to the hotel. So we walked all the way around the loop with our luggage. I am 75 and it was a bit tough."

"Great location but no reception desk. They got my email wrong so we had no idea how to check in or where to park. Parking was expensive. Construction going on so foyer and lift a bit dirty. Loose tap and leaky shower hose. Bed was ok but sofas weren't. Had no milk so bought our own."
