"Beautiful new clean room with a tiled walk in shower. Very nice pools and pool bar. Excellent location to food and shops in Kīhei and short drive to Wailea. Luxury feel on a tighter budget."

"First, the staff was extremely nice and professional, the low rating is not a reflection of them. We were on a cruise that docked overnight so wanted we a room off the ship. It had great ratings on Expedia. We were told that since we booked with Expedia, we were VIP. However, our room was like an isolated jail cell. The courtyard area ( pictured on site ) was beautiful and simple. Our room was VERY old and beat down, and horribly located. The linen seemed clean but, the room itself ( furniture and layout ) and location was so terrible, we ended not even staying in the room and just accepting that we blew our money. We were able to at least use the parking pass for our rental car. The surrounding area had a lot of homeless population and walking to the Foodland (10 min ) did not feel safe ( we are from Miami ). Bottom line, this place was like a Motel 8 or Knighs Inn. So if you want budget friendly, it will do. However, if you’re on a dream vacation to Hawaii, just skip right past this. This rating again is not for the staff, it was for the condition and location of our room."

"This was a modern clean and comfortable room. This had air conditioning which was nice to have. It also had a microwave, coffee maker and small refrigerator. The B units do not have a beach view however the property was located on a very nice beach and also had a nice pool. On the property was a small store and an equipment rental for the beach and ocean. "Our stay at Hilton Grand Vacations Club Maui Bay Villas was truly outstanding from beginning to end. The villa itself was absolutely beautiful, with every detail thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. The amenities were fantastic and added so much to the overall experience. Combined with the peaceful atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, and exceptional accommodations, it created an experience that felt far more special than a typical resort stay. "We were upgraded to a deluxe ocean view room. The room and premises were gorgeous. Staff including the cultural activities were top notch we took full advantage of the pool area and water slides. The biggest inconvenience was trying to find a couple of chairs to relax and to keep our stuff while enjoying the pool. So many people reserve seats and don’t use the chairs. It was incredibly frustrating. I knew this from reading the reviews ahead of time and it was still frustrating as we tried to get an early start our second day and were still late to grab chairs.
