"The Mansion House was a very pleasant place to spend our few days in South Wales. The hotel and grounds were kept beautifully and the views over the estuary are just stunning .Breakfasting and dining were of a high standard and from our experience of 5* hotels , deserving of their rating. "Plenty of Parking-Nice outside area to sit and have a drink. Executive Rooms have very large room and bathroom with jacuzzi bath & walk in Shower. No A/C,Fridge or Safe !! Room 17 located over the Lounge so quite noisy when Function on. Spa good but only a Plunge Pool plus Jacuzzi,Steam and Sauna facilities. Breakfast over priced."

"The staff without exception were excellent. They were very helpful and made us feel very welcome. The cooked breakfast was good on both mornings. The internal appearance of the restaurant, breakfast room and lounge was very pleasing. Our room was small but adequate for a short stay. Bed linen and towels were immaculate. Negatives. Hotel supplied winter duvets which were much too warm for June. Both nights were therefore uncomfortably wam. We stayed a Sunday and Monday night and the restaurant...
