"Strong odor of smoking near my room"

"Breakfast was pretty good, close to grocery store, we loved mini golf up that way. My only complaint was there was absolutely 100% someone smoking in the first floor, less the 30 feet from the front desk when we arrived, was pretty stinky."

"The staff is very friendly. We stayed here last year as well for the NWAC championships. The rooms are updated and clean. Nice breakfast in the morning with fresh coffee."

"Bare room with bed and tv. Shower was gross. Deck and stairs poorly unkept. Very noisy with traffic and people visiting outside. Bed very bad. I know you get what you pay for, but this was bad."

"The front desk staff was amazing and went above and beyond to accommodate. The pool hours in my opinion could’ve been a little bit longer. We are disappointed. The hot tub was closed since that’s one of the things we look for when we book a hotel. We enjoyed the breakfast. Our room was nice and clean."

"Breakfast was good and the area around the property felt safe. The outside was nice and bright, but inside was very dark and showing its age. We weren’t expecting the Ritz, but it was definitely below the standard we’re used to for the area. We visit family in Kelso 2-3 times a year and have stayed in 7-8 different hotels that all felt better than this location. Our biggest issue was the cleanliness. "I was thoroughly impressed with the facility until I slipped and fell on my elbow and knee while walking back to my room. I promptly alerted the front desk about the water on the floor, but they explained that the floor cleaner occasionally misses some water. Surprisingly, there were no wet floor signs, and they only offered to waive the resort fee. Fortunately, I’m not an elderly person, so I didn’t break a hip or something worse."

"We had an excellent stay at The Allen House Bed & Brunch. The place was very clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The owner/operators were some of the nicest people you could meet. We even met the father-in-law when we arrived — he was outside landscaping and taking care of the property, which really showed how much pride they take in the place. Breakfast the next morning was outstanding with lots of options to choose from. We had the biscuits and gravy, which were excellent, and they even served...

"The towels had stains, place was dirty lamps didn’t work and I wish I could attach the pictures so they speak for themselves. Never again."

"Loved the view of the river, the river walk with daffodils, the nice amenities, staff, & overall fun atmosphere. Good food and drinks there as well, especially with the Irish music on St. Pat's. Just wish there was a coffee pot in the room. "

"Staff was super friendly, quick to check in and it is in such a easy place to park, and walk to food, gyn, and other things. Clean and large rooms and love the outdoors aspect of the place. Breakfast was great, in a big room and lots of options from Waffles, to cereal, eggs, potatoes, Biscuit and gravy, Hard Boiled eggs, coffee, juice.. your normal full breakfast options. Internet is fast for work access. Great place, will stay again when I am in the area!"

"Old and musty. You could tell it used to be smoked in or was catching smoke from smokers. Even though it was non smoking, a chair and ash bucket were right outside the door. Fridge is a wine bottle cooler, had to physically pick up and move the microwave to plug it in. Bath mat was a dingy hand towel. All the towels were dingy white and thread bare or simply had holes. It wasn't even worth the discounted price I paid ket alone full price."
