What a wonderful place, full of history and uniquely charming- the pool was amazing too! Staff were friendly and we learned a bit of French wartime history, for which we felt proud and grateful.

Business trip. Hotel was excellent. Apart from all the building work going on. Nothing on the site to say this was happening. Less than half the hotel available to use.

Short walk into the old town of Hyeres, which is lovely. Great views from the rooftop. Great breakfast, which is served on the rooftop. Easy to get a bus down to the beaches in Commune d'Hyeres. Room and bathroom very clean and spacious.

Simple stay for Christmas holidays, room was clean, breakfast included was fresh and varied. French pastries and bread very fresh and of good quality. Ham, cheese, salami, fruit salad, scrambled eggs, etc.. also on offer. Very welcoming and helpful staff.

We were delighted to have booked Le Provencal. The setting in Gien is perfect, with both easy access to the village and also front line access to the sea via the well maintained gardens, pool & bathing platforms. The pool area and coastline are magical. The service from all of the Le Provencal team was helpful and friendly, of particular note was the 'pool manager'. It was great to have access to three restaurants, the food was good quality and we enjoyed breakfast and dinner 'village side' in...

We stayed here before taking the ferry. It was ideal. The ferry terminal is closed by. The greeting was very welcoming and we were treated to great, friendly service throughout our two night stay. The owners and their staff were very helpful.
