The bed was firm, not hard, and extremely comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was amazing, probably the best I have ever experienced a hotel, and it was hot immediately. The staff was very friendly and funny. The room was clean . I am planning on staying there again.

Older motel. The room was clean. Nice hot shower with good water pressure. Husband thought the bed was comfortable i did not. Owner was very friendly. Would stay again.

The immediate area is so beautifully natural and quiet. The motel sits atop a hill on several acres overlooking both Lake Michigan and the Kewaunee River.The owners run the hotel and that means a lot to me. I will definitely stay at the Coho Motel again and again.

Nice one night stay

Basic motel room, not fancy, but very clean and in great condition. Front desk service (Kai) super friendly and efficient! Walls a bit thin, so adjacent noise noticable, but over all a pleasant stay. Restaurant in town, The Ballering, although pricey, has an excellent perch fish fry, and the baked Brie with cherry compote appetizer is one not to miss!

We stayed in the basic twin queen room. The check-in was smooth and effortless. Young lady behind the desk was polite and helpful for dinner options. We were there to sleep as we were headed out on a charter the next morning for fishing. Goofy set-up for bathroom lighting. The light switch for the shower/toilet room was the same as the sink - so when you turned it on most of the room was lit. Seems minor, but to see where to pee - you basically woke everyone up. Otherwise, good stay. Prompt check out by 11a.m. - no exceptions. Probably would stay again; but check out a suite instead of the basic room.

The hotel was in a convenient location for our trip and easy to find. Our room was clean and well maintained. I did not care for the lighting for the bathroom area. It was very bright and there was only one switch for the bathroom and vanity area, which made the rest of the room really bright for others still sleeping. The payment was confusing to me. The property owners said that I owed the first night’s payment, even though I had booked it through Orbitz. But I did not get the two charges on my credit card to add up to what it said I paid in the app.

The staff at this motel were so kind and friendly!!! Check-in was fast and easy. Based on the previous high rviews i read of this location, my expectations were high, but the actual room experience wasn't the best. Our first room had a terrible odor to which the front desk staff were very sorry for. They showed us 2 other rooms, one with the same smell, the other very old and musty!! The 4th room was a suite on the second floor in the larger building. It smelled old but wasn't pungent like the others, so we took that room at no extra cost. This room is further away from the highway so very quiet. The room was large, beds comfy with a great second floor view at the back veranda! There's no pool, breakfast or restaurant on the property. This motel is overpriced for the age and quality of it, and seems like a further walking distance to the lake than described. We wouldn't stay here again.
