"Was just a perfect location for a night out with friends and the staff where so pleasant from checking in to checking out the following morning The rooms were very clean and spacious The quality of the food and drink was just amazing and there just a great vibe around the whole hotel Highly recommend for anyone looking to get away for a night or two and does be great value "

" Room was perfect for my needs. The hotel grounds are just stunning Breakfast in a castle is pretty top tier! Good options for breakfast and everything was well cooked and delicious, had more a bed and breakfast feels rather than hotel with more intimate table service. I would have preferred better quality and more options with bread, rather than low quality white and brown sliced for toast that was served. I did feel this let down the breakfast. This is the only reason I dropped a star. "

"From the moment we arrived til the time we left all staff we met made a big positive impact with our stay. Check in, bar, dining and service staff were great. As we are on an extended trip of 3 months staff changed our room to thd lower floor so we didn't have to lug our suitcases upstairs. We had a lunch and a dinner and both were wonderful and well priced."

"From the loading bay in front of the property, it’s a step over the pavement to the bar, where there was a welcome and an efficient introduction to the building. Access is easy with a key fob. The room was cosy and clean. I didn’t use the kitchen but it looked clean too. The location is right in the town and there’s a big car park (pay and display) behind it, with very handy EV charging. Being a busy bar, it gets noisy at night. There are good places to eat nearby in the town, and the parkrun...
