"We had a wonderful stay, 8 nights. Great food, relaxed atmosphere, lovely staff, great choices at breakfast. Very clean room, comfy bed & nice big shower. The spa is fantastic too. We will be back!"

"The staff at reception were very welcoming and efficient. The 'deluxe' room overlooked the golf course. The bedroom was dated but the superking bed was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very disappointing, quite dated with limescale and mould on taps and shower head. The shower curtain was mouldy and bath mat clean but discoloured with age. I've stayed in better premier Inn rooms. There was a good selection on offer for breakfast."

"The people were lovely, the grounds were beautiful. There were some very minor maintenance issues. Poets Corner is very nice and the women waiting on us were top notch."

"One of the best breakfasts we had on the trip. Located directly across from the beach, following our surf lessons which was perfect. We stayed in one of the cottages at the back and it was exceptionally spacious for a family of four. We would’ve liked to have stayed longer, but we were moving on to another area of the country."

"Room was spacious and the kids enjoyed the tennis court! We also found a playground a short walk away. The lower rating was due to the washroom. The toilet was wobbly and did not flush well. The shower had great pressure but there was only a half partition to contain the water and water ended up getting on the floor."

"This hotel had no air conditioning on days when the temperatures went above 23*C. A small fan was provided which was not enough to cool the room. It was uncomfortable to sleep at nights. The location is great and breakfast was excellent. I would stay here again however the hotel should consider adding A/C for the hot summer days"

"The bar and atmosphere were amazing! This hotel was super busy with tour buses and big groups coming through. The food is great and the service excellent! The building is old and needs updated badly. The room showed signs of being very old and not professionally maintained. Faucets leaked, carpet old, bathroom tub left a lot to be desired. Overall I would stay there again, very family friendly. Just understand it is an older hotel."

"Owner met us and checked us in. Servers in bar and restaurant were friendly, attentive and courteous. Food was delicious. Met and spoke with other friendly, engaging guest. This is a superior stay in Shannon Ireland area, off the beaten path, in a peaceful rural setting, yet easy to find and access. We would visit again and stay longer!"
