"Seemed the best hotel in the area. Room big with a terrace leading to the very attractive large pool with the lake and a tree house to climb. Monkeys about who were fun to watch. Breakfast more to Asian tastes than mine but French toast, potato’s, fruit and breads available.It was very quiet during our stay with more staff than guests! Good choice for Yala but recommend the wild edge restaurant opposite in the evening for a drink."

We had to walk a long distance on foot, during which we encountered wild animals — an extremely unsafe situation. Upon arrival, we were shocked to find that the entire facility was in a state of severe neglect. Mold was present everywhere — on the walls, ceilings, and even furniture. "A hidden gem! A beautiful, clean and comfortable cottage right in the middle of the forest, in the heart of nature. Lovely staff and service. They even arranged a last minute safari for me, which was worth it. The restaurant serves organic and fresh meals (veg only) and the view of the lake is spectacular! The host even took us for a walk around the areas and we saw some lovely birds. This place is worth every penny. Highly recommended. "

"The room was ok, with good views of the lake, but found lots of creepy crawlies and insects in our room one inside bed, and one inside of a folded towel, the food was not that brill, we ordered prawn curry but they gave us shrimps, with watery gravy, probably ok for the locals. "
