The old house has been very nicely done. It is an oasis at present with rubble parking around. Close to the Mevlana Tomb, shops and restaurants and within walking distance to other points of interests. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom. Mommir, who speaks English, was a wonderful host, providing information and advice and being to hand at every moment. Breakfast was a wonderful feast and the coffee the best I'd had in Turkey. Mommir also helped flag down the dolmus to the Otogar. Thank you. Great stay.

Super helpful owners/
Nice quiet out of the bustle location but still close to major sights. We bought a rug from the owners attached shop and he was gracious enough to package it up with many of our other purchases through out the country and ship the whole lot to us in the US via FedEx, it all arrived safe a sound! I would have given them an all around 5 star but the beds were pretty hard.

Very quiet hotel. The owner and his wife will do everything they can to make you feel comfortable. They give you restaurant recommendations and offer a delicious breakfast. The parking inside the house is very convenient. Communication was great and you can contact them via WhatsApp, which helps when you are abroad.

Çok ama çok memnun kaldık. Güleryüz, hijyen, konfor ve otopark hepsi mevcut. Konumu sebebiyle arabayi birakip gezebildik. Tavsiye ediyoruz. Sadece kahvaltısı biraz daha cesitli olabilir yinede doyurucuydu. Odakar biraz loş o kadar. Bunlarda ufak detaylar yoksa puani hak ediyor.

Beautiful, spotless and convenient!
We were very pleased with our stay at Dervish Hotel. Our room was lovely, very clean and comfortable. The owner so kind and very helpful, even helped us get dinner by calling the restaurant asking them to stay open for us as we arrived late. All the major tourist attractions in Konya within walking distance. The breakfast had much to offer and delicious.

The hotel is more similar to a B&B concept so attention is very warm and personal. The decay of the immediate surroundings is a little discouraging at first but this impression is erased almost immediately by the perfect welcome of Mr. Ucar, owner and manager of the property. The hotel is easy walking distance to major attractions in Konya and Mr Ucar kindly helps with recommendations, directions and transportation to any other destination one may wish to visit. I felt all the comforts of a home in Konya, I would return here again without a doubt and sincerely recommend it.

For me, a lovely hotel.
Staff couldn't be more helpful, lovely character hotel. Didn't have all modern facilities like no USB sockets in rooms to charge mobiles but given it's character, that isn't a problem (took a plug in charger anyway). Breakfast was enjoyable and within 2-3 minutes walk to a number of restaurants.

Beautiful restored mansion in the heart of Konya
My husband and I stayed here during our time in Konya. The rooms are large and comfortable with beautiful woodwork and carpets throughout. Our hosts went out of the way to make sure we were satisfied with our stay. The breakfast was plentiful and fresh. God willing we will be back.

Family run historic ottoman mansion
Lovely family-run hotel in a beautiful and historic Ottoman era mansion. Muammer speaks decent English and was helpful with suggestions for local attractions. There is free, secure parking within the hotel grounds which is a bonus as the surrounding area is going thru a transition and is quite derelict. Our bed was very very firm, good for some but a little too much for me. Due to pandemic, restaurants are only offering take out and Muammer suggested a local place that delivered some delicious Turkish food. Breakfast was great, typical Turkish breakfast of cheeses, fruits and vegetables, hard boiled eggs, breads, tea and huge cups of Turkish coffee. The Dervish Hotel is decorated with beautiful Turkish carpets and nomadic kilim rugs which Muammer has sourced from his carpet store in a building adjacent to the hotel. There are thousands of rugs both new and antique, and Muammer knows the history of every single one. He has clients all over the world and can ship rugs through FedEx for a decent price...we bought a small kilim rug and cushion cover which would cost $20USD to ship to Canada. This is a lovely hotel in a beautiful Ottoman mansion that will be even better to visit once the surrounding area is re developed.

We liked everything about this place. The staff was exceptional--they took care of us like family. It is in a beautiful Ottoman house and is clean, quiet, and comfortable. We couldn't have asked for anything better.

Centrally located, yet quiet, Konya Dervish hotel has a homely feel.the hosts were responsive to our needs and gave us useful tips for our travels after Konya. Breakfast is very good.

Prachtig hotel, prachtige stad en geweldige mensen
Prachtig hotel met heel vriendelijk personeel. Heel behulpzaam. De derde dag werd ik ziek maar er werd meteen hulp aangeboden. Het is dichtbij drie moskeeën dus houd rekening met de gebedsoproep om vier uur 's nachts. Het oude centrum is enkele minuten lopen, het centrum bij de Alaadin heuvel is 20 minuten lopen. 's Avonds en 's nachts is de lucht heel slecht in de winter. Er stoppen bussen en minibussen vlakbij, dus vervoer is geen probleem en heel goedkoop.

Very friendly and comfortable: excellent value.
The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. My room (12) was quiet, spotless and beautifully decorated with local carpets and bedspreads. The bathroom was small but perfectly adequate. Breakfast was healthy and plentiful. The location was good: close to the main square.The mid-March rate was extremely good value.
