This hotel resort proved to be a wonderful choice. The room is simple, but large. The upkeep on the property is very nice. We wish we had scheduled more than one night on the island and at this resort.

Great hotel.... loved our stay

Fabulous complex with great facilities. We had a fabulous meal at restaurant Kobana Lanterna and Marco was an amazing host , sharing all the traditional recipes used to cook there. Thank you Marco for making us feel so welcome. Would love to stay here in warmer weather. The outside appearance of some of the buildings was a bit off putting as they look very dated, but the rooms were modern & beautifully clean & presented. The breakfast was one of the best I have seen in years. There was nothing that wasnt provided for including gf croisants and brrad for me. X

Property is gorgeous, very walkable to old town. Staff was very nice and accommodating. It was fun to rent bikes from Manuela to go ride to the nearby wineries. Would highly recommend!

Felt quite basic. The ‘restaurant’ was similar to a canteen. Lots of choice of food at breakfast & dinner - but poor quality & waiters looked disinterested. Bedroom door could not be closed, as bed too large for the room - & because it opened on to the wardrobe … the wardrobe door couldn’t be fulled opened either, which restricted how it could be used. Convenient location to explore Korcula - either by walking along coast or taxi boat.

Really good

Not so good for older teenagers as the pool isnt deep. There is no bar in the evenings so after trips to town fir dinner we just sat on our balcony. Great breakfast with fantastic views and the beach is perfect for snorkeling. Great location too. Had to request a kettle in room.

If you are going for a family vacation, this place is great! We were there without kids so it might not be where we return. Still, the convenience of the store across the street and the ferry (3€) to Old Town, made it a very convenient place to stay.

Great hotel for family holiday

Great family hotel. We had half board as was very little difference in price to bed and breakfast. Food offering was great. The cove the hotel is situated in is beautiful and sea so clear, gorgeous to swim in. Only criticism is the way the pool is run. Despite rules stating leaving towels to save sun beds is not allowed the beds are gone by 9.15am. No hotel staff police it so no one removes towels to give beds to guests, so empty beds and people waiting. Needs to be sorted as not very many beds as it is. It didn’t spoil our holiday but it could be managed better.

Fairly okay, but do not expect too much...

This is a family resort, meaning be ready for kids screaming and running all over the place and pool area. This is not for couples who wants to relax between discovering Korúla. The resort is a bit worn down and some things are not working. Breakfast is buffet and typical for mediums resorts. not many item are fresh made/prepared. Dinner at night is also buffet. No a la carte. Pool areas are reasonable - but pool bar is not a visit worth. The staff are undertrained and not able to make decent cocktails or drinks due to lack of training. Staff at poll or restaurants are lacking motivation. Best motivated staff is at reception.

We had a fantastic family holiday. We stayed in a family room which was compact but clean and adequate for our needs. The location is stunning and it’s so easy to get into Korcula Old Town by taxi boat or walking. We’d highly recommend this hotel to families.

Pictures on the website are not same , the property is much older than it appears in the pictures. The worst part the property ground is shared with a campsite , not good at all. Staff in the main office were great though .

The pictures of the hotel on Expedia were misleading. We expected a nice property with a large pool or spacious beach area for guests, but the reality was quite the opposite. Upon arrival, we found a motel-style hotel with buildings that looked old and tarnished. The overall property felt more like a campground—and in fact, it is also a campground—so despite paying a high rate, you end up sharing the pool and beach with people who aren’t necessarily hotel guests. While the units themselves were renovated and clean, the bathroom design was poor—shower water leaked all over the floor. On a positive note, the front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. Renata, in particular, was wonderful and gave us excellent recommendations for beautiful beaches nearby when we told her we didn’t like the property’s beach.

2 star at best: go elsewhere.

In my various travels (including several trips to Croatia) I have never come across such derisory managerial service and lack of basic support for such a pricey hotel. With surly management, combining the empathy of Blofeld with the service ethos of Baldrick, this underwhelming lodging was a lowlight of our exceptional stay in Croatia. Clues start at check-in: refusal to help w our 6 bags in the searing heat (‘staff don’t start till later in afternoon’) to initially being given a room that smelled of sewage, there was little attempt at making our stay a memorable or pleasant one. Moving to our 2nd room (230), its bedroom with no ventilation, that night I noticed the floor in the bedroom was boiling hot, our bed warmed by the pipes of the boiler room below. The one shining light, a locum manageress, tried to find another Aminess hotel in another region, which we declined. Moving to a 3rd room, in the apartment block, I slept the 2nd night on the floor in the kitchen, as once more there was no aircon in the bedroom. Throughout, there was v little sympathy, and a derisory attempt at compensation, for a room that cost almost 500 euros a night. ‘It’s peak season’ is not an excuse for poor service. Last tip if u dare to stay: leave the hotel during the day and go into Korcula, as they often don’t serve lunch onsite (we waited 40 mins for some fried food in the only 8-table cafe nearby.) Finally, note no beach towels in the pm to use in the tiny pools, literally rammed w people.

Strange place. Some staff very friendly, others just rude. Resort ‘suites’ are quite basic, buffet was ok. No pool towels at lunchtime - they had ‘run out until tomorrow’ - really?! Not enough loungers around the pool or shade. OK overall but not worth the money paid sorry
