"Overall enjoyed the stay at this resort. The room, location and staff were all great. The amenities are handy, the rooms are generally clean including the bedding and towels, the reef views and variety of activities available daily made it a great place to say. The only downside was the restaurant. And unfortunately this was a massive let down. It took a long time in the evening before staff would take an order for food & drinks. One night it took over 40 minutes for us to get a round of drinks ( a single bottle of wine with 2 glasses I ordered at the bar myself after not being able to flag down a staff member), the bar tender said they would bring it to the table so I waitedanother 15 minutes I returned back to the bar to get it myself. The whole process from ordering drinks and food to receiving drinks and food took about an hour and a half. Service (outside of the breakfast buffet) would take roughly an hour before. The food, when it did arrive was always average. This included undercooked fries and pizzas, old rice and bland dishes. Breakfast buffet was hit and miss too, literally 50/50. A couple of the days I stayed it was great and a couple the scrambled eggs were watery and wet or there were multiple whole yokes not mixed it. We were lucky enough to have had a hire car so we were easily able to explore other venues for food."

"The resort is a serene paradise, the staff were extremely friendly and the views were incredible everywhere. The reef wing (adults only) is worth the upgrade as some rooms are slightly dated. The amenities, views, and friendly staff make this resort. The massage was also incredible. The downsides were the communication, we had to ask three times for synthetic bedding as I am allergic to feathers. When we got a late check out the housekeepers out kept knocking to see if we were checking out. We also changed rooms and I accidentally left some belongings in the room and the housekeeper threw them out which was frustrating. Overall I would recommend to stay in the reef wing."

"It was our first stay in Fiji and Maui Palms was the most wonderful experience. The apartment, amenities and grounds were amazing. Being right on the beach was beautiful and we were able to do a lot of activities through the resort. Although the standout were all of the lovely friendly and helpful staff! "We stayed in a plunge pool room and the room and view are amazing, if you can, I'd recommend highly. The amenities are standard, nothing flashy which suited our needs. All the staff were top tier, couldn't say enough nice things about them. The problem does arise when it comes to food and beverage. The included breakfast is subpar (and I'm being polite). Was stuck having toast with jam all week. I attempted to order from the menu one morning and had the most disgusting looking french toast I've ever seen. Raw, not uncooked. Raw. To make it worse, they dumped the soupy egg mix on top of the bread and attempted to serve it too me. When I refused in an attempt to eat it and asked for it to be taken back, I witnessed the manager and waiter arguing over it. I don't know what was said, it made me uncomfortable."
