"The admin is excellent, helpful and kind. The location is convenient for me specifically who rather check different spots instead of only the heavily commercialized. The only downside is beyond anyone’s because I was with a female friend and everywhere you add 2 is not always couples, so ;("

It was refreshing to see the staff cleaning the pool early in the morning, which showed how well the property is maintained. Although the hotel is a little away from Fira town, it offers excellent value for money. We had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend it."

Free daily breakfast was a nice way to start our mornings and host made sure that we had it if we forgot to submit our order the day before! "when I booked this hotel for one night in Santorini I was not sure what to, expect but getting there and went inside I was very surprised at the spaciousness of the room and it was like a studio and the price was amazing. The manager called us and asked if we needed help with anything. We had breakfast delivered in the morning!!! It was amazing. LOVE the place, very very clean and up to date. All amenities very included. THANK YOU FOR A GREAT STAY"

"We had already stayed at the Nous Hotel in Santorini in October 2023 and were completely satisfied at the time. That is exactly why we decided to book the hotel again for 5 nights during our trip in May 2026. Unfortunately, upon arrival we quickly realized that not much was left of the hotel we had experienced in 2023. Overall, the hotel no longer feels well maintained – at least not at the level one would expect from a 5-star hotel. In many areas, it feels like costs are being cut. One example...

"I came to the hotel to find NO ONE around to check me in. Before I arrived I was told to notify the hotel of my estimated arrival. I messaged the hotel 2-3 times and had no reply. My flight had been delayed significantly so by time I reached Santorini my battery was very low. Once I got to the hotel, it was completely dark and no one was around to greet me. This was around 10:30pm. I had less than 10% battery. At this point I was panicked. I called the number I found through Expedia. No answer...

"We stayed one night but it was very nice. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast is ordered via a menu that is sent to the staff and delivered to the room! Housekeeping was nice and helpful. Beds were comfortable and the private pool/patio was great. Make sure to reach out a day before your stay to get check in information (date code, room instructions). We missed that instruction and didn’t have a way in. Luckily, the staff were easy to contact and housekeeping helped us get settled...

We travelled with two children and the villa had plenty of space host was accommodating and communication via WhatsApp was great. Breakfast was generous and delivered fresh and hot. Overall great spot and large villa perfect for a family. To be extremely picky the downstairs aircon location is no ideal and doesn’t cool the whole bedroom. "

Pyrgos is bovendien een heel gezellig dorpje met tal van uitstekende restaurants. Ook het ontbijt bij Penelope’s Ouzeri was heerlijk en een echte meerwaarde voor ons verblijf.
