"Not worth it. Way over priced! We stayed one night. Staff are very nice. But the place is of a by gone era. It’s old but not in a charming way. Showers in the onsen are cold and you have to wait for many minutes in order for hot water to come out. The rooms and elevators are old. the outdoor hotspring is on the top floor with no facilities (you have to go downstairs first and shower) and no real view to speak of. "Excellent location for a quick trip to Zenkoji Temple and a very good bargain. The only issues are the stairs being steeper than most people are likely used to, and the futons can give you a stiff back. The price is nice in that it gives you the ability to try out the Ryokan experience without committing to a heavy price tag."
