"Our 3rd time staying here; twice in the addition. With this one-night stay, our carpet felt damp so it made the entire room feel damp. Ran the fan and opened the sliding glass door open just a bit to air out the room - did not want to use AC neither with the "dampness" already lingering. Room was quiet even with the highway noise and we slept well."

"The property is not updated as many reviews have noted, our bathroom sink was repeatedly clogged....beds were great though we slept well... and the location is convenient for walking, but you are across the street and behind other hotels on the beach so not a beachfront. The breakfast was disappointing...we only went one day and did not return. I booked here for the breakfast over other properties, but you pay a $45/day resort fee for it and use of the pool which is always overcrowded with kids. You also get free drink tickets to use at the pool nightly. This property is best for those with small children and like the convenience of on-site breakfast and pool area. Would have been great when my son was 6, not so much at 16. Worth it to pay more to be on the beach and pay for better dining. Staff were fantastic and the best part of the stay."

"This is my family's second time staying at the property. We loved it so much we stayed a second time a year and four months later. The staff is always so helpful and kind. The rooms are clean and my kids love the pool. We normally do not have problems with parking. This time we would get back and the lot would be full. They have a garage for overflow just a minute walk away that we loved as well!"

"Room has a slight musty, damp smell. Otherwise clean room. Room is small, but adequate for two people. Breakfast is great. Elevator situation is bad, only two elevators with one broken for months. You have to wait maybe 10 minutes as the elevators are full during rush hour. Location is great on the west end of Waikiki. "
