Rooms are a little small but very clean. Staff are very nice and helpful. Breakfast was quite good and traditional. Nishiki market is a walking distance. There is a very good ramen place that’s Michelin recommended walking toward Nishiki Market.

Pros: Love the public bath and japanese toilet and bathroom in general. Staff polite. Nice amenities. Great location to 3 rail stations and gion etc area. Cons: Room 315 is at back of bldg. view is a brick wall and dark. Hard beds (due to platform which bed is on), small room, no hooks or racks etc. to hang clothes. Sorry, wish beds were more comfy. No option for cooling or heat adjustment.

Its has much space than our hotel in Osaka. The bathroom was perfect- love the rain shower. The hotel is next to 7 eleven which is very convenient for us...everyday konbini experience. Very clean and lots of good amenities. I love the in house onsen experience. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my family and friends who will visit Kyoto.

The stay at Amanek Kyoto Hotel was great, the staff was very kind and helpful, on our last day they helped us to arrange a taxi to get to the station. The location of the hotel is pretty convenient, with konbini and food stores nearby. There are also a couple of bus lines a few meters away. The hotel has an Eco friendly policy, they do a full clean up every 3 days. The room was confortable, the beds have some space underneath to store luggage, we were able to store 2 big luggage without any issue. We didn't reserve with breakfast, so I don't know the food quality. However, they offered free drinks in the afternoon and you can use the dinner space to eat your own food. As a summary, I recommend this hotel!
