A little far from the motorway, but lovely country side. Relaxing and quiet, lots for the kids to do. The main village is very near and walkable, but not much to do (very nice photo opportunties though).

This place is absolutely stunning. Located in the hills, it will provide you with stunning views, fresh air, and the piece and quiet that you need.
The foods is exquisite and of Michelin star standard - make sure you try the souffle desert.
The service is excellent, always there to help - these people really know what they are doing!

Stayed in this hotel for a short 2 night stay. Made to feel very welcome by the owner and his wife. We ate in the hotel on the first night which has a set 3 course menu and it was good. Breakfast is a buffet and although not vast selection still enough to set you up for the day. Room not luxurious but perfectly comfortable with a small en-suite bathroom.
Would happily stay there again.

The room was very clean & bright. The staff were very friendly & helpful. The hotel was in the centre of this lovely town (Espelette) & next to the shops. I understand the breakfasts are well liked but I didn’t eat breakfast there. The was a helpful book re trails including the one to the top of the hill right opposite my bedroom window.
