"The room was clean and comfortable for our stay. The bed was comfy, but not the pillows. I will bring my own pillows next time. The hotel was a good proximity to where we wanted to visit, which was "The House on the Rock" and "Cave of the mounds". It's also across from a nice supper club "Arthur's" . I recommend for a nice little weekend getaway."

"We arrived for check in and upon walking in I was overcome by nausiatingly horrible smell. It was so intense and awful that as I was handing my license to the teenager behind the counter, I needed to make a break for it to the bathroom. I had to leave the facility and have my daughter (adult) return to collect my license so we could leave. The place not only smelled but also seems very run down. Would NOT recommend this place to anyone!"

This time however, our room (and the pool) did not meet expectations: Room 129 is billed as handicap accessible but the bathroom was not. The bathtub was not walk or roll-in and there were no grab bars. Shower head was hand-held but stream was hard to adjust. Tub fixtures were not secured to wall properly. "Very helpful and courteous staff that welcomed us to the site. Services in the hotel are extensive and we especially enjoyed the extensive Norman Rockwell collection. This location is a good value and well worth the price"

"Quiet. Only complaint was bathroom In pool area needs a good cleaning but it was at the end of the day so that might have been why it was so bad. Water pressure in showers is light."

"Window shades were see through so parking lot light shined in my face all night. Room was clean but had a heavy cleaning product odor. Towels were very thin and worn. Morning breakfast was good."
