"The property is modern and clean in a great location to visit East of Iceland. it has a beautiful view from all rooms. Breakfast was great and staff very helpful with planning our sightseeing trips. The only negative thing is that it got really really warm in our room the morning we were leaving as it was unusually warm that day and there is no AC."

"Cabins are rustic and dated, but main hotel building was more modern. Breakfast was the first we encountered in Iceland that included cooked eggs and a waffle station, and dinner was excellent. Happy hour runs until 1900, with nice pricing on drafts and wine and beautiful lounge upstairs. Overall a fair value compared to all our stays, but would avoid the cabins. The photo is very modern, but cabin was more austere. Of course, if you’re driving the Ring Road you are not expecting 4 stars. Staff...

"Nice place but they do warn you the hot water smells of sulfur and takes a while to come out. In our room the toilet paper holder didn’t hold the roll very well, and the view outside was not very interesting. The staff and the restaurant were great through - love the baby back ribs, pizza and nachos are too plain."

"Pro: guests cleaned up after themselves all the spaces were clean. Shoes off at the door you have to switch into indoor slippers. Very well equipped shared kitchen. Didn't have to wait long to use bathrooms/showers since there were multiple. Convenient location to shops and restaurants. Con: way too noisy. Even though we had our own room it felt like a true hostel. Might as well pay more if you're looking for good rest. The heavy doors will slam shut every few minutes and it's not soundproof....

"Convenient location to gas station and grocery store. Onsite cafe and bar, big free parking lot. The hotel is a bit outdated, I had A five bunk beds private room for 4 people, no desk or shelf, but I used one bed to put stuff, works fine. Bathroom setup more like campground, individual room has door and curtain. Press button once hot water comes down, but only last 5-10 seconds. I have to repeatly press button. Kitchen has cookwares, utensil and plates. Range stove only has one out of 4 stove...

"One of our favorite places to stay during our 10day trip on the ring road. Kitchenette well stocked, comfy beds, able to do laundry. Highly recommend."
