"So the hotel was wonderful, however after driving all day we arrived at 1900 and the manager could not find our reservation. After making calls and finding someone who could help at Expedia the problem was fixed. It too 45 minutes before the front desk received our confirmation from Expedia. If I had not called I’m sure we would have been double charged one from Expedia and one from the hotel. "Clean linens and towels, lots of parking, room is newly painted. There’s TV, A/C, microwave. Receptionist is very nice. "

"We traveled to Island Oaks with our 4 little ones (ages 6, 4, 4 & 1) and had an absolutely amazing time! Our whole family fell in love with this place immediately. We rented one of the tiny homes & it was so perfect...adorable decorated, extremely clean and stocked with everything you could need. There are so many fun things do with the kids that we didn't even get to fit them all into our trip. We are very much looking forward to visiting again on the future and have already recommended this...

"The only contact I had with staff was through a small bank teller type window while I remained outside. The first thing the clerk demanded was a fifty dollar cash deposit. I guess that should have been my notice this was not the kind of place you would visit with family. The motel looks like something from an old 1960 movie set. The room entrance door had a strong spring which would prevent a child from escaping in an emergency. The floor felt sticky and a few of the light switches did...

"Great hot breakfast including eggs, sausage and breakfast potatoes. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The only complaint I would have is the noise at 5:30 a.m. I'm not sure if it was hotel staff or not. Slamming doors over and over and both morninga so I think it may have been cleaners? But im not sure. Would stay again but not on first floor. Other than that, great stay!"
