"The toilet created terible noise in the bedroom when using."

"Checking into this hotel, I had to walk my children through a bar of people drinking and staff using inappropriate language communicating with what seemed to be locals that drink there everyday. Checking into our rooms the floor was dirty and the smell in both rooms was off putting. The blankets were not covered and when removing the sheets on top of the blankets there was urine stains all over the blankets and mattresses. "Room and bed were alright. Check in was self done. Staff barely acknowledged us. We were put on the ground floor which was close to a function room that had a live band playing. We were not told about this or given an option if we didn’t want to be near the room. When I went to ask about it I was ignored by the bar staff for about 5 minutes until I butted in. There was no one on reception. I was told the band was playing till 10 but they would ask them to turn it down. The noise level didn’t...

"This is the second year running we have stayed here as we perform at Light The away Dance Convention at The Colosseum Theatre. The room has always been comfortable and clean and the motel is in close proximity to where we are performing. We look forward to staying here"

"I have stayed here in the past and found that the room was clean along with the dining/breakfast area. Breakfast was good and not crowded with enough food. The Vittoria coffee is crap but that was the only thing that I didn't like but no big deal. Parking is easy and free. I will stay there again."

"I’m not someone who ever complains but I think it’s different when in Aus you would expect to have cleanliness standards atleast met (overseas I feel like I’m not as fussed because I know the economy affects jobs and hospitality and venues etc) anyways the room was so extremely dusty hadn’t been cleaned in years kind of environment, floor was dirty never mopped or cleaned, shower was dirty (we genuinely kept shoes on 24/7 unless in bed) the bedding was so dusty we would wake up every morning...

"I needed a hotel overnight in relatively close driving distance to Homebush. The staff at Gladius welcomed me. The room was clean and spacious, with a kitchenette, KS bed and heaps of wardrobe space. Everything was clean and modernised, and even though it's on the corner of a main road, it was quiet. I would happily stay there again in future."

"As a solo female traveller I felt unsafe with the casino, how people smoked and the unsafe kind of people 😭 and I didn't want to stay any further"

"It’s convenient in location close to Westfield and restaurants however it’s v noisy with the train tracks across the road. Big space and washer/dryer was convenient."
