"non smoking room was definitely a smoking room. When brought to his attention the manager told me to just turn on the AC and it would go away. He then tried to move me to a different room and it smelled a little less like smoke but stunk in other ways. Was told the water would be shut off in the morning. I got a refund and was two hours late getting to bed because I had to find a different hotel."

"My room on the 3rd floor was large and the bed was good, but there was no lid on the toilet -- and toilets should always have lids unless they're in medical facilities where urine tests are given. Speaking of urine, the entire 2nd floor smelled like cat urine. Fortunately, the helpful woman at Reception (who sits behind a glass screen, btw, and slides your key to you through a small slot) moved me to the 3rd floor, which does not smell bad.
