"If the pool had frosted windows we would have used it. The pool is located so when anyone comes or goes from the hotel, anyone in the pool is looked at, no form of privacy at all. Our mattress was old, we could feel the springs, almost the worst mattress we have slept on. Location is excellent, on broadway at one end of the shops and easy walking to the beach. Views of the river are a plus."

Even though we were close to the highway it was very quiet, the people in the morning woke us up above us but that's normal. So we were looking back at our booking notes and there was no mention of how to get into your room. We walked around a bit and there was a note hanging by the stairs that instructs guest to go to another location a couple miles away to pick up the room key. "This was a great location and staff friendly but I have never stayed in a VRBO property that was so tattered. Carpet had dog pee spots all over and bathrooms were from the 1970’s, avocado green and harvest gold. All cabinets had scratches and smelled like old wood. The kitchen was very nice though and beds were comfortable. I would advise to leave air freshener to cover the wet dog smell. Advise others to look closely at pictures as well.
