The room was rather stark with a television that glitched quite a bit but we were not into the room that much. "Victoria is kind and helpful and the property is a beautiful rambling half hostel but with beautifully appointed rooms and upholstered walls and a treasure of things to look at in common areas. Beautiful old buildings and grounds. Our shower ran cold to cool and was confusing to control, but it was hot and we didn’t ask about it so can’t complain too much there. Pool was also lovely and clean."

"There was a problem when I arrived and they said the garage was full but I showed them my confirmation of garage reservation and eventually they agreed that I could park my motorcycle in the garage as agreed in writing 2 months earlier when I booked. The hotel should make sure that they sort this problem out as the reception said it happened many times to other people…."
