"We had a small but functional room with a balcony with a beautiful Mountain View. We loved sitting on the balcony enjoying our lunch and the views. The staff was exceptionally friendly. The free breakfast was a huge perk and delicious! The restaurant also provides dinner with a nice variety menu to chose from. There is a downhill walk to get there from the train station, so that means every time you go to town or train station you are walking back uphill. The staff did provide us with a taxi to the train station on our final day which we much appreciated. We had a wonderful 5 day stay at the Edleweiss. Take a picture of the valley from the backyard. It’s amazing!! Highly recommend this hotel!"

"The staff at this hotel was warm and welcoming and the manager, after overhearing a minor issue we reported to the desk clerk, intervened and asked us specific questions in order to address and rectify the issue which we appreciated. The breakfast was delicious and the view from our balcony (attached) was spectacular. I would definitely stay here again."

"The main hotel, room, and dining are all fabulous and in great condition. Our room had a lively terrace with amazing views and everything about it we loved. The included breakfast was very fresh with lots of options and in the amazing hall. The onsite gym was really well stocked for a hotel gym, but the spa left a little to be desired for a hotel of this caliber, especially the hall/entry and the pools/hot tubs. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and would 100% come back again."

"We highly recommend Hotel Alpenruhe! The staff is super helpful and we were always met with a smile. They went above and beyond to accommodate in many ways! The property was very nice and clean with an unimaginable view! If I ever get the chance to go back to Wengen, Switzerland, I will stay here again! Super stay!"

"My 7yo son and I had such a lovely stay at Hotel Edelweiss in Mürren. The views from our room were absolutely breathtaking, and it was the perfect base for exploring the beautiful area. The fondue on the terrace was a real highlight, as were the wonderful breakfasts. Most of all, the staff were incredibly warm, kind and welcoming — they really made us feel at home. A truly special place with beautiful views, delicious food and the loveliest people. We’re so grateful for our stay and would love to return! ❤️🏔️"
