TRYP by Wyndham Pittsburgh/Lawrenceville
8/10 Good
"Clean and well located. Fun area. 3 reasons not 5 stars and not highly recommended. First there was the noise in my 3rd floor room on 40th. Really loud early morning. The front desk person told me some guests like the noise because reminded them of urban living. A bit hard to believe. Second the much promoted rooftop closed Sunday and Monday during my visit. Third $32 for parking when not even downtown was excessive and felt a bit like a resort fee."

Courtyard by Marriott Pittsburgh University Center
2/10 Terrible
"The manager didn't even care enough to talk with me about any of the issues we had during our stay. You would think that if a guests room was nor receiving maid service and the guest had to contact the staff multiple times, the manager would care. But not in this case. It has been five days since our check in and not contact from management. While lack of mad service and then chasing down the staff to do the normal every day things expected of any hotel, it is not the only problem with this hotel. Looking from the outside in, it looks fine. But when you have to stay there the little things add up. The bed is like 8 inches of foam on pallet, not comfortable at all. After an hour, the side you are laying on is numb, from laying on the board. The TV has a black line running from top to bottom. Just checking in is an ordeal. limited space in front, when one car is stopped no one can get by. We waited 20 minutes to go 100 feet to get to the parking garage. Talk about the mark up for the NFL draft weekend, $1,200.00 for two days. With no maid service we had to call, a lot, just to get clean towels. The furniture in the one room "suit" was actually less comfortable than the bed, one inch of foam on a board. The in room coffee pot did not work. The only good thing I can say is there was good water pressure in the shower. Of course we couldn't dry off, not clean towels. This place has delusions of adequacy."

"The room was fantastic. Better than what I anticipated!!! I would definitely stay here again. They have it all. And I mean the essentials for us women! Super modern and sophisticated. Thank you so much !!!"

Hilton Garden Inn Pittsburgh University Place
6/10 Okay
"Great location to UPitt! Parking was $35.00 a day. Breakfast was $18.00 pp and it was the usual that we normally get for free. The bathroom tub was chipped and stained and the beds were very soft and uncomfortable. I saw water on the floor in the lobby and no one cleaned it up. Honestly, I was surprised with the condition considering it was a Hilton. Eli at the front desk was nice."

Comfort Inn & Suites Pittsburgh Fox Chapel
4/10 Poor
"Bags of trash left for multiple days in the hallways, room smelled musty and had splatter on the walls and old food in the fridge. But the hotel bar was convenient and plenty of available parking. "

Rodeway Inn & Suites Monroeville - Pittsburgh

Hotel Indigo Pittsburgh East Liberty by IHG
2/10 Terrible
"Didn’t make it. Booked the hotel and a rental car through Expedia. Showed up to get the rental and they didn’t have it. Called every rental car played within a 50 mile radius and all were sold out. Messaged Expedia to let them know and I still got charged for the hotel. So I didn’t get to go on vacation and still had to pay. Thanks Expedia"
