"When I arrived, my reservation had already been fully paid in advance. However, at check-in, I was asked to pay for the room again, which resulted in being charged twice for the same reservation. Unfortunately, the staff member who assisted me at check-in was not particularly helpful when I tried to clarify the situation. Fortunately, at check-out, another staff member was very kind and professional. They reviewed the charges, immediately understood that the room had been paid twice, and resolved the issue by arranging a refund for the duplicate payment. I really appreciated the way they handled the situation and their excellent assistance."

"Excellent hotel apartment with separate living room / kitchen. Very well maintained. Reception were great as we arrived close to closing time, but they stayed on to get us parked and provided a map with recommended walking route to the old city. Convenient location with a 15 minute walk to the castle / cathedral."

"Location was great, rather modern american style and didn't embrace Ghent culture. Room had all wooden floors, a little uncomfortable for all the time. Room amenities poor for the exec level room I paid for."
