We have been to this a hotel a few times during our journey to catch a ferry. It never dissapoints.

This is a lovely little guest house overlooking the most gorgeous bay. The rooms are on the small side but the views make up for it. The staff are very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast is basic but filling. There's lots of nice cliff walks and it's not far from Santander, there's a local bus if you want to go and have a wander there.

Fairly easy to find, with underground parking staff very friendly and helpful, Rooms clean and well laid out, Food excellent and the service for evening and breakfast, very good, would not hesitate about staying there again, excellent prices.

Very convenient location. Lovely facilities including garden and lounge. Breakfast was delicious. But best thing was host. So friendly and helpful, with good advice re places to go. He spoke very good english.

Comfortable and elegant hotel with access to stylish outdoor pool and thermal bath included. Our pet dog was welcomed but not allowed in the dining room or by the outdoor pool - OK in summer when you can eat on the patio. Short drive from Solares to Santander.

We were lucky enough to happen across this gem when searching for a quiet location close to Santander that would accommodate us and our two small dogs in a hurry. We were taken aback by the extent of kindness and curtesy extended to us by Ivan and warmed by a welcome that was genuine. The accommodation is tasteful and thoughtfully responds to the 150 year old fully renovated building, replete with all of its original timber beams. Nice modern feeling hotel/guesthouse with a very nice restaurant. There was safe parking at the back of the hotel for my motorbike and staff were welcoming and helpful. The restaurant is the highlight of this hotel but I think it may only be open some nights. Food was excellent quality and excellent value, a great dining experience. The only down side on my visit was the mosquitos which made my night uncomfortable.

Great hotel to stay very nice and interior is superb. Rooms are big. The only think the room needs a mirror and more hangers.

A charming manager who greeted us and also managed the breakfast buffet - extremely hard working. Our room was immaculate and the location good. Only slight downside was that there was no parking at the hotel but there was free onsite parking nearby.

Excellent spa and outdoor swimming pool. Good restaurant for dinner but the breakfast was fairly average.

Great location for El Sardinero and other smaller beaches next door, a Lupa grocery market, and bus stops into town are nearby, walking distance to Palacio de Magdalena. Parking is not free (10EUR) and there is plenty of free parking nearby. Host was business-like. Not too many dining options around.
