"Older hotel but the room was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. They do a nice complementary hot breakfast in the mornings (eggs, sausages, ham, mushrooms and fried tomatoes) along with options like cereal and fruit. The walk to the Opera House is just over 1 km."

"Great location. Great property. The only thing thats missing is probably bottled water. Tap water is drinkable but will be good to at least have complimentary 2 bottles a day. There is a main supermarket across the street so it was no problem at all. Aircon not the strongest at times but we managed. "

"There was no hot water for my evening and again for my morning shower. My colleague on another floor tells me his shower had no water halfway through and he had to wipe soap off himself without water.
We advised reception on morning checkout and they said yes they understand there seems to be a problem.
We both paid full rate for our rooms ?"

"If I could rate this hotel minus, I would do so. It is disgraceful that such a sub-par room is sold at all, much less for the price that is being charged. Staff were lovely and attempted to help, but no offer of an upgrade into a decent room. Carpets were beyond awful. It looked like someone had used the carpet as a toilet, and smelt that way too. Bathroom was beyond dated and grout was filthy. I will never, ever stay here again. Lift your game and provide a room that fits its description"

"Stayed for 2 nights with 2 kids.. great location..ocean view suite..room was clean and big enough for the kids and has all modern amenities..we were on level 1 and the balcony opens to ocean view.. unfortunately the roof of the bar under the balcony was being repaired so there were some privacy issues..
Only feedback the toilet seat was cheap plastic which squeaked a lot and we were worried of it will crack..
Bar and bistro under had good options and cheaper as well.lot of restaurants as well...

"Wonderful central location, super close to the shopping centre and the train station and the rooms are good sized with lovely comfortable pillows and beds. "The air con in the room was hot and cold all the time, can never get the room to a comfortable temperature and stay like that. Probably being picky, was definitely expecting room coffee is better than a nescafe 43 sachet. After housekeeping we werent given fresh face wash, when asking the staff said they ran out.
Every morning when the airline staff checking out the front foyer was a mess, always a struggle to get to the lifts.

"During my stay I encountered several cleanliness issues including an un-vacuumed carpet, an uncleaned bathroom, a bug found on my toothbrush, and broken glass in the bathroom.
The team were responsive when contacted and did arrange a partial clean the following day which improved the carpet and smell. The broken glass was also eventually removed after being raised a second time.
