"We often stay at the Royal Appollonia and once again we had a fantastic week. Special thanks go to Mo on the front desk and Elisavet in the restaurant who made us feel welcome every time we saw her. "The pool is freezing, it’s pretty far from the beach and town 14-20 euro each way. The beds are very uncomfortable, no coffee, no water in room. The kettle needed my converter to plug in. Breakfast was ok, but coffee machine was not working. I booked a double room but was assigned a single. Staff is wonderful and kind."

"The only thing I didn’t like was the surprising lack of power outlets in the room. I’ve never come across this before, even in 100 year old buildings. There was one dedicated to the fridge, one for the electric kettle, and one spare. By contrast, the 3star hotel I’m in now, has six power outlets, including on both sides of the bed. This is not, in my experience excessive, just standard. The 2 star hotel I stayed in Athens also had more than enough outlets. That’s the only fault I can find with...
