"Staff was very unhelpful if you could even find them. Check-in was painful. The motion detector door chime to alert staff that someone was at the front desk was ignored for 15 minutes while we were consistently activating it. We eventually had to call the main phone number and it took another 5 minutes before someone would come to the front desk to check us in. The positives were the room and bathroom were clean and it was quiet. The breakfast was ok with a wide selection of items to pick from...

"Let’s start with the positives! The rooms are adorable like the pictures show! They feel cleaner than a hotel and the beds and bedding were very comfortable!!! Another huge positive was the quietness. I was in my room frequently and never felt annoyed by closing doors or people being loud! So, in those ways The Herbie was a great choice!!!! "If you don't mind trying to find solid pavement to walk around sevel holes, and you do not mind the pounding sound outside the hotel, if you don't mind scraped doors, and baseboard holes along bottom of wall, and if you don't mind having to get front desk x3 to get room key and then wait for lock to be changed...then hurry on over.
