We had an early flight and found this hotel to be an excellent choice as it was extremely close to the airport. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and quiet. The front desk staff was helpful, there was a buffet breakfast from 4am as well as a small shuttle bus which ran about every 15 minutes which was helpful with luggage. The airport is near enough to walk if you have minimal luggage. We had dinner in the bar restaurant and the food and service were excellent. Overall, a lovely place to stay.

The restaurant experience could be improved service wise, but if it's the same as it is in the U.S. since the pandemic ended, being able to find and keep staff may be the issue in Lisbon as well.

Only reason we gave staff terrible was staff in their bar. We waited over 20 minutes and nobody came and cleared our table or take our order. Two different wait staff just looked over and ignored. One other visitor sitting next to us went to complain and she was told there was a football game going on. Went across the street to the star and had drinks and good meal within minutes of arrival. Front desk staff were great.

Literally a 4 - 5 minute walk max to airport. Very clean. Nice staff. Breakfast had lots of delicious options. However bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Was too bad as otherwise perfect

Handy location, less than 5 minute walk to the airport. There is a shuttle but it’s a small van and it can get busy, and it only runs every 15 minutes. We waited for it but since there were so many people we walked and beat it anyway to the airport. Hotel is nice, staff were great, and the restaurant was delicious. Large selection for breakfast buffet and it was nice that it started at 4:00 AM for early flights. Rooms are nice but there is a lack of plug ins, none in the bathroom area, and the beds were hard and uncomfortable. Felt like sleeping on a box spring. Pool area was nice but the indoor pool requires you to wear a swimming cap, which they provide for €3 so we didn’t end up using it. Shower was capped at maybe 85 degrees Fahrenheit for hot water so that was unfortunate. Not recommended for the price. There are other options for lower cost a little further away which you could easily take an uber or cab to the airport for cheap.

Proximity to the airport is perfect for a very late flight arrival and car hire pickup next day. This is the third time we’ve stayed and appreciate the consistent quality and good breakfast, and friendly staff.

Hôtel Melia was truly an unexpected pleasure for what we thought would be a standard airport hotel for the night before we flew back after two weeks away. Free van service offered to and from the airport, sincerely warm hospitality during check-in, a spacious, lovely and very quiet room (with a powerful rainfall shower head) were already above par. Add to that an awesome and very clean spa/sauna open till 10 PM to insure the perfect night’s sleep and an elegant buffet breakfast (including specialty Lisbon pastries like pastel de nata) and, well, perfection 600 feet from the terminal. 4 thumbs up!

Everything was amazing! Staff was wonderful! Food delicious. Location ideal. They made me feel welcomed. They went above and beyond on my Birthday. I had a delicious chocolate cake and champagne waiting for me in the room.

The Melia is extremely close to the airport - we walked at 3:30 in the morning since the shuttle doesn't start until 4am. The room we had was small but well furnished and was comfortable, although in a bit of an odd location (we almost didn't find it). The dining room was a bit pricey, but the bar area offered a reasonable selection of choices so we had dinner there. The ordered directly from the bar since the serving staff were busy. Despite being at the airport we didn't hear a single plane.

We had a good sized room that was very comfortable. Although it was noisy outside, the windows almost completely muffled the sound. The staff was very pleasant. We ate in the on-site restaurant twice and the food was very good at a fair price. We really liked that we could easily walk up to the airport (there is a shuttle available, but we chose to walk), and that the metro from there made it easy to get into Lisbon and do some sight-seeing. The pool area is lovely and the pool is good sized. We had a very nice stay.

Vert convenient and easily walkable to the airport. Room was beautiful and very quiet. And the breakfast buffet was the best we have ever seen at a hotel. The 4 AM start was much appreciated before our early flight.

This was a fantastic hotel. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. It is within walking distance to the airport, but is very quiet. I highly recommend it!

We loved our stay here. The staff are kind, helpful and friendly; the rooms well furnished and comfortable; the breakfast buffet phenomenal (including the champagne!). We brought our dog, who received a welcome package 😄, and the hotel has various dog amenities, which was great. The location is great, for arriving or departing the airport, and I was amazed at how sound-proof the rooms are. There is a good pool for swimming lengths, and a nice poolside terrace (where, sensibly but alas) dogs are not allowed. We can't wait to return. 💖💖💖💖💖
