"I loved staying at this historic, old world hotel for a week.The rooms are elegant, clean and spacious. I was in town doing wedding planning with my daughter and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly & accommodating. I felt so special. My husband could not be there, so I was traveling alone, yet always felt safe and comfortable. Their drivers were top-notch gentlemen who took me anywhere I needed and promptly picked me up. Their 2 restaurants were wonderful & spiced pecans are out of this...

"Everything was great"

"This hotel was clean, but very noisy at night, slamming doors, I could hear people arguing in the next room till late at night. Also I chose this hotel because they had an airport shuttle….but it didn’t start till 6:30 am…not helpful for a 7:00am flight….had to pay for a taxi…will not stay here in the future."

"The Empress is in/near a very nice/cool/fun section of Main St. Good food. Solid galleries. At least two very interesting antique shops. Wonderful ice cream shop. The Community Bakery is very good for pastries, coffee, breakfast or lunch. At the Empress James is a perfect host and took care of everything we needed. We would stay again if our travels take us back to Little Rock."

"The whole key process was simple. The room was great. The stairs were really steep. Railing is really low so nothing to hold on to as you walk down the stairs. Other than that, it was a nice stay."

"Very dangerous part of town Valet parking moves care several blocks away Totally uncomfortable"

"Overall clean and easy to access and check in. Staff was very friendly. Showers were a bit odd in set up and could be taller. Ac worked well and bed was very comfy."

"Had a great stay. Kelly the bartender made excellent drinks! Chef Al made a delicious chicken pesto pasta and Tim the valet. I don’t remember the front desk clerk but she was super friendly!"

"Check in was welcoming and seamless. Although the facilities experiencing an upgrade, our room was on a newly renovated floor away from the noise. We had a peaceful night and enjoyed a lovely breakfast. We will return because they offer value, excellent location and ease with parking."

"There were multiple stains and a really weird smell (not a good one). There was chipped paint in the bathroom as well. The smell is what concerned me the most idk what that was but it was like bad perfume. Bed was comfortable and amenities worked."

"Parking close and well-lit. Breakfast ample and appetizing. Enjoyed the daily joke on letter board near front desk."

"Close to the I40. Some parking for large moving trucks. People were friendly."
